FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicinal compositions for the treatment of cattle based on a combination of active ingredients that can be used for the accelerated treatment of peptic ulcers, open wound surfaces, in particular for the treatment of peptic ulcers of cattle hooves. The method of local treatment of diseases of the hooves in cattle is carried out by using the medicinal product in the form of an ointment applied to the affected areas. A combined preparation of the following composition is used: polyvinyl butyl ether — 100.0 g; streptocide — 50.0 g; dimexide — 50.0 g; iodine — 10.0 g; methyluracil — 50.0 g; 1% dioxidine — 10.0 g; anhydrous lanolin — 150.0 g; vaseline — 150.0 g. The medicinal product is applied to the previously cleaned area of the lesion being an open ulcer or wound surface in the hoof area, with a frequency of at least 1 time in 3 days.
EFFECT: processes of healing and cellular regeneration of wound and ulcer surfaces are accelerated.
