FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing the surface of a fibrous lining of an ethylene cracking furnace. The method includes the following steps: S1) levelling the surface of the fibrous lining; S2) wetting the levelled surface of the fibrous lining; S3) reinforcement of the wetted surface of the fibrous lining; S4) coating the reinforced surface of the fibrous lining with a composite paint to form a top coat layer and providing more than one expansion joint on the surface of the fibrous lining during the coating process. After stage S4, the composite paint is fired to form a ceramic bond with a surface coating layer, while the stage of reinforcement of the wetted surface of the fibrous lining is punching 3-5 holes per square meter of the surface of the fibrous lining, where the hole diameter is 10-20 cm, and the hole depth is 20-50 cm, and filling all the holes with composite paint.
EFFECT: ensuring strong bonding of the paint with the lining, no cracking and flaking of the paint during operation, complete protection of the fibrous lining with a coating and significant extension of its service life.
