SUBSTANCE: surface of the brick body is additionally provided with a coating, which can effectively protect the fiber of the brick body from harsh conditions, improve its high temperature resistance, and help prolong the life of the burner brick. Solid-fiber burner brick contains a solid-fiber brick body and a coating applied to its surface, in which the whole-fiber brick body is obtained from a source material containing, wt.%: fiber from alumina crystals 20-30, amorphous ceramic fiber 5-20, filler from fine powder 20-25, inorganic binder 30-40, organic binder 5-15, flocculant 1-5, while the alumina crystal and amorphous ceramic fibers are composed of a combination of fibers of different lengths.

EFFECT: increasing the bulk density of the product, improving the suction filterability of the fibrous blank, and improving the strength of the blank.
