FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: gas nozzle (1) is designed to emit a shielding gas flow when joining workpieces using an electric arc and can be used for thermally joining workpieces, preferably by arc welding or arc brazing. The gas nozzle has a gas outlet channel (2) and comprises a gas distribution section (3) to form a structural unit. At least in a separate section of the gas distribution section (3), the nozzle is double-walled to form an additional flow zone (16) for the shielding gas flow. The gas distribution section (3) has on the peripheral side one or more gas outlet holes (8) placed at the same distance from each other, providing communication of the gas outlet channel (2) through the fluid medium with the gas outlet hole or holes (8).
EFFECT: laminar flow at the front end of the burner with maximum heat transfer, whereas the design of the nozzle provides the possibility of automated cleaning of the burner, in particular, by means of a cutter.
