SUBSTANCE: devices with sealing elements made of expanding elastomers for isolating the annulus of wells. The device for isolating the annular space of wells consists of a hollow shaft with an elastomer sealing element, with thrust rings at the ends with a number of longitudinal slots on them and a spacer ring in the middle part with radial circulation holes spaced along the perimeter. The sealing element is made of an elastomer that expands under the action of formation fluid and is divided by a spacer ring into an upper part and a lower part. The sealing element is provided at the ends with annular grooves facing the outer side of the ends of the sealing element. Each of the annular grooves has an internal annular groove. Thrust rings are made of nitinol alloy with shape memory effect, provided with annular protrusions installed in the inner annular grooves of the sealing element, and spades emerging from the annular protrusions with the possibility of interacting with the annular grooves of the sealing element. Spades on the thrust rings are made with the possibility of spreading in the radial direction under the action of reservoir temperature and pressing the sealing element against the wall of the casing string. The spacer ring is provided with locking elements capable of fixing the spacer ring on the hollow hole, and is also provided with annular extensions with a number of longitudinal slots, and the hollow hole is part of the liner pipe or intermediate string.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of sealing the annular space in the presence of elliptical pipes and defects on the inner surface; in ensuring the sealing of the annular space due to the presence of thrust rings at the ends of the sealing element, which have a memory effect and are triggered by the reservoir temperature; in the possibility of locating the device on the outer surface of the production or casing string, above the coupling when lowering into the well and placing it at a given depth.
