FIELD: shock absorption devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to means for damping vibrations in vehicle suspension devices. The hydraulic shock absorber contains a reservoir, inside which there is a working cylinder, a rod guide, a rod movably fixed in a through axial hole of the rod guide, and a piston with a rebound valve and a bypass valve fixed at the end of the rod, a reservoir nut with a casing cover in the upper part of the reservoir and a compression valve at the bottom of the reservoir. The internal cavity of the working cylinder is divided by a piston into a rod part and a piston part. The compression valve is made in form of a cylindrical body with a through hole offset from the center of the generatrix of said cylindrical body for fixing the adjusting disks.
EFFECT: expansion of operational capabilities, which consists in the effective implementation of optimal damping, which maximizes the stability of operation of hydraulic shock absorbers with an angle of their installation from 0° up to 90° relative to the vertical.
