FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: well reamer comprises a body with a thread, a central channel and slots in which movable blades with rock-breaking elements are installed. In the lower part, a tip with holes is installed using a coupling thread, made in the form of a chisel with PDC cutters. The body is provided with a cage, which limits the movement of the movable blades outward, due to the tails made on the upper and lower ends of the blades. In the upper part, the cage is provided with a sleeve that limits the plunger stroke and forms a hydraulic chamber with the plunger, communicated by a radial hole with the central channel. The plunger is provided with protrusions according to the number of blades with the ability to move in the grooves of the body, and on the protrusions of the plunger, inclined surfaces are provided, equipped with dovetail spikes for grooves on the inner inclined surfaces of the movable blades. The plunger piston forming the hydraulic chamber is made cylindrical. The grooves of the body are made of a length that allows installing the movable blades in the grooves of the body from the outside from the top. The bushing, which limits the plunger stroke, is made integral with the upper cage, covers the upper part of the grooves and acts as a stop for the movable blades. The stroke of the plunger is made in such a way that in the extreme upper position the protrusions of the plunger are inserted into the grooves of the housing. The outward movement of the movable blades is limited by clamps rigidly connected to the body.
EFFECT: creation of a reliable reamer design for absorbing high torque while drilling and reaming wells by transmitting torque by the plunger protrusions interacting with the body grooves, eliminating sludge in the reamer hydraulic chamber, guaranteed return of the movable blades to the transport position, as well as reducing the time to replace the movable blades.
