FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building materials used in the construction of reinforced soil structures of roads or earthworks. Woven geotextile is made by plain weave of polypropylene film threads. The warp threads are pre-tensioned in size 22÷30% of the maximum allowable tensile load, and the weft threads are pre-tensioned at a rate of 40÷50% of the maximum allowable tensile load. The finished web is additionally subjected to a tensile load in the warp direction and in the weft direction. The value of the tensile action for the geotextile is from 40% to 50% in the direction of the warp threads and from 20% to 30% in the direction of the weft threads of the maximum allowable tensile load for the geotextile.
EFFECT: reduction in the possibility for deformations and ruptures of the geotextile during operation.
