FIELD: pipe manufacturing.

SUBSTANCE: mill contains a carriage, a drive for moving the carriage, power pulling and return ropes and a mill frame. At one end of the mill frame there is a rope winch, which includes a traction drum divided into two halves. On one half of the traction drum of the rope winch, a power pulling rope is fixed at one end, unwinding from the traction drum, and the other end is fixed to the fastening post located on the mill frame next to the rope winch. A return rope is attached to the second half of the traction drum, which unwinds from the traction drum of the rope winch. At the opposite end of the mill frame, there is an automatic tensioning mechanism consisting of a tensioning block. Along the entire length of the mill frame, racks are attached, to which longitudinal channels are attached made in the form of guides, with the ability to move along them using rollers of the mill carriage. The mill carriage contains a frame, a block, which is a power pulling rope block, ensuring the working stroke of the mill carriage, and another block, which is a return rope block, providing idle running of the mill carriage. A pulling rod with a calibration mandrel attached to it is attached to the end of the mill carriage frame by means of a threaded connection.
