FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maneuvering gears in rolling stocks and is designed to displace railway cars at short distances for their positioning. Maneuvering gear for railways cars displacement includes flexible pulling element with carriage being fixed to the above element. There are support rollers installed on the carriage body and arranged so that they can rest upon guides. The carriage is provided with counter stops to interact with truck and carriage stop control mechanism. In addition, flexible pulling element is connected with reverse traction drive being equipped with reduced coupled with shaft. There is a spool on the shaft to reel flexible pulling element. Guides for traction carriages are installed outside the main way and parallel to rails. They are installed at a distance which ensures carriage stops interaction with side frames of truck. A mechanism, which controls carriage stops (advancing and removal), is implemented as a spring-loaded pedal with oscillating crank gear to fix stops in extreme positions. The synchronisation system including carriage movement disagreement sensors, spools disconnection coupling for ropes reeling and band brake with fastening units is also introduced.
