FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for oil and gas exploration in ice-covered reservoirs. Essence: carry out high-precision aerial magnetic survey and ground-based high-precision gravity survey. Zones of isometric positive anomalies of magnetic and gravitational fields, complicated by local minima, are identified, showing weakened zones along which hydrocarbons migrate. In this case, ground-based gravity survey is carried out from the surface of an open reservoir along a square research grid with a step of 150-250 m with additional coverage along the perimeter of the mined area of 400-600 m. Aeromagnetic reconnaissance is carried out on a scale of 1:25000 in coverage and research grid, similar in direction and step to the gravity survey grid.
EFFECT: reduction of exploration time.
