FIELD: catalytic cracking.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a catalytic cracking catalyst containing a Y zeolite with rare earth elements. Zeolite Y containing rare earth elements is proposed, which has two mesoporous pore size distributions in the ranges of 2-3 nm and 3-4 nm with a mesopore volume in the range from 0.03 cm3/g to 0.057 cm3/g, and also having a ratio of peak intensity I1 at 2θ= 11.8±0.1° and peak intensity I2 at 2θ = 12.3 ± 0.1° on an X-ray diffraction pattern of at least 4.0; a method of manufacturing rare earth-containing zeolite Y, which consists in hydrothermal calcination of rare-earth-containing zeolite NaY under atmospheric conditions, followed by adding from an external source containing an acidic substance or an alkaline substance of an aqueous solution. It is also possible to put NaY zeolite containing rare earth elements in contact with an acidic substance or an alkaline substance to obtain an NaY zeolite containing an acidic substance or an alkaline substance and rare earth elements, followed by atmospheric hydrothermal calcination, and a catalytic cracking catalyst, containing 20-60 wt.% of rare earth element of zeolite Y, 10-30 wt.% of inorganic oxide binder and 30-50 wt.% of natural mineral.
EFFECT: increase in hydrothermal structural stability, increase in the stability of cracking activity and a decrease in the selectivity towards coke of the resulting catalytic cracking catalysts.
