FIELD: switching device.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a control device (10) for the movable contact (91) relative to the fixed contact of the vacuum chamber (90) of the electrical switching device (100). Device (10) contains the main mechanism (1, 2, 3, 4) for disconnecting and connecting the contacts, which is of the mechanical energy storage type. According to the invention, this device (10) comprises an auxiliary mechanism (5, 6, 7, 8) to help disconnect, configured to store mechanical energy when the moving contact (91) moves towards the connection position, and return the mechanical energy thus stored, in such a way as to exert an additional releasing force in form of an impact, leading to movement of the moving contact (91) from the connection position towards the release position, when the moving contact (91) is immobilized in the connection position, despite the action of the main releasing force. This additional releasing force can in particular be transmitted by means of an impact arm (6) caused to rotate by the action of an auxiliary release spring (5) until one of its ends strikes the main mechanism lever (41) or a component connected to with this lever (41).
EFFECT: ensuring the opening of contacts in case of their welding.
