FIELD: radionuclides; nuclear reactors.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for the production of radionuclides in the pipe system of control and measuring equipment of a nuclear reactor. The decay station (30) includes a housing (50) with a radiation protective screen (54), the housing (50) limits the decay pipeline (52), designed to accommodate irradiation targets (16) in a predetermined linear order. The decay pipeline (52) contains an inlet (56) for connection with the structure (12) of the nuclear reactor core (10) for receiving targets (16) from it and an outlet (58) for connection with the system (27) for unloading irradiation targets for unloading targets (16) from the decay station (30). Moreover, the decay station (30) contains an input distributor (68) located at the inlet (56) of the decay pipeline for the simultaneous release from the decay station (30) of only a predetermined number of targets (16) towards the structure (12) of the core (10). The inlet distributor (68) is adapted to release the targets (16) closest to the inlet (56) of the disintegration pipeline, while retaining the remaining targets (16) in the disintegration pipeline (52).
EFFECT: possibility of releasing activated radiation targets 16 from the core 10 of a nuclear reactor while minimizing the risk to the environment.
