FIELD: transmission of discrete messages.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect information with stochastic error-correcting codes in communication channels with interference. On the transmitting side, first, the original binary information is divided into blocks of k bits, each of the blocks is subjected to a direct double stochastic transformation of the original information and a linear stochastic code of length n bits is formed, which is transmitted in the communication channel. On the receiving side, the least reliable symbols of the stochastic code are erased, erasures of the linear stochastic code are corrected, an inverse stochastic transformation is performed, and the original message is restored. The first direct stochastic transformation consists in scaling the initial information with a pseudo-random sequence, and the second stochastic transformation is the multiplication of the sampled information by a pseudo-random generating matrix of a linear stochastic code of size k×n.
EFFECT: simplified decoding of a stochastic code with the correction of multiple erasures, which allows the use of long codes that provide higher noise immunity.
