FIELD: fuel.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fouling inhibitors for low-sulphur diesel fuel, specifically to a vegetable oil-based compound used as a fouling inhibitor, a method for its preparation, a composition based on it, a fuel containing the inhibitor, as well as a method for improving inhibition properties using said fouling inhibitor. The compound is represented by formula (I), where each of x and y is an integer from 0 to 4, each of m and n is an integer from 3 to 9 and 10≤m+n≤14, R1 and R2 are selected from H.
EFFECT fouling inhibitor with a low dew point, low acid number, low mixing ratio and meeting all lubricity requirements.
