SUBSTANCE: invention relates to restoration of the volume of articular synovial fluid. A method of using a composition based on recombinant angiogenin to restore the volume of joint synovial fluid, in which a composition containing a dermatologically acceptable carrier, preservatives, oils, emollients, emulsifiers, structure formers and surfactants, and directly recombinant angiogenin is used as a composition, while the content recombinant angiogenin in the composition is from 0.1 to 20 μg/ml, consists of intra-articular injection of the composition in a volume of 2 ml into the synovial cavity of the joint at least 3 times with an interval of 5 to 7 days.
EFFECT: invention provides a stable, pronounced effect of restoring the volume of articular synovial fluid.
