FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to biotechnology. There are presented a composition for treating signs of skin aging and a method of treating the signs of skin aging. The composition contains NFkB inhibitor and a non-retinoid collagen production stimulant. The above NFkB inhibitor is 4-hexylresorcine, whereas the non-retinoid collagen production stimulant is feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) extract. The method of treating the signs of skin aging involves topical application of the composition containing the NFkB inhibitor and the non-retinoid collagen production stimulant.
EFFECT: advantage of the declared group of inventions is the synergetic enhancement of collagen production induced by a combination of the NFkB inhibitor and the non-retinoid collagen production stimulant.
