FIELD: active mineral additives.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for producing an active mineral additive based on clay of the following mineral composition, wt.%: montmorillonite - 39%, quartz - 15%, albite - 12%, mica - 11%, clinochlore - 8%, hornblend - 7%, microcline - 6%, calcite - 2%, as well as the range of active mineral additives suitable for production of low-emission binders based on Portland cement. The method of obtaining an active mineral additive involves grinding clay of the specified mineral composition calcined at 800°C for 1 hour to a specific surface of 650-1100 m2/kg.
EFFECT: introduction of the proposed active mineral additive into the composition of Portland cement reduces its content by 10-15% in the composition of the mixed binder while simultaneously increasing the mechanical properties of artificial stone based on it by 5.6-38.5%, depending on the content of the additive and the hardening conditions.
