FIELD: end-to-end formation of beams.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the end-to-end formation of beams in a system using a through repeater. End-to-end beam generation systems (500) include end-to-end repeaters (503, 1202, 3403) and terrestrial networks (502) to provide communication with user terminals (517) located in user beam coverage areas (519). The ground segment may include geographically distributed access nodes (515) and a central data processing system (505). The uplink feedback signals (525) transmitted from user terminals have multipath propagation induced by multiple receive/transmit paths (1702) the signal is in an end-to-end repeater, and is transmitted to the terrestrial network. The terrestrial network using beam shapers (513, 531) reconstructs user data streams transmitted by user terminals from the feedback signals (527) of the downlink. A terrestrial network using beam shapers (513, 529) generates direct signals (521) of the uplink from appropriately weighted combinations of user data streams, which, after being relayed using an end-to-end repeater, form direct signals (522) of the downlink, which are combined to form user beams.
EFFECT: technical result is the equalization of delays and the elimination of distortions in the feeder communication line.
