SUBSTANCE: group of invention relates to the upper structure of a railway track, in particular to options for constructing and securing a railway track. The track contains longitudinal under-rail recesses with rails mounted on under-rail pads. A groove is made on the side edge of the recess to accommodate an elastic plate terminal. The terminal is located in one section adjacent to the base of the rail, and in others it is supported on the supporting edges of the groove. The section adjacent to the rail base is C-shaped, covering the rail base. The upper edge of the sole interacts with the upper branch of the terminal, and the lower edge of the sole interacts with the lower branch. There is a gap between the side edge of the sole and the terminal. The upper branch of the terminal is made with a curved convexity developed upward towards the rail with the supporting edge of the end section resting on the upper supporting edge of the groove. The lower branch is made zigzag directed into the groove with curvilinear sections directed alternately downwards and upwards with the supporting edge of the end section resting on the lower supporting edge of the groove.

EFFECT: reliability of the track increases.
