FIELD: medicine; gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: step one is to wash out the mucus from the duodenum by introducing a catholyte solution with ORP=(-400)-(-800) mV and pH 8.5-9.5 into the probe in an amount of 150-200 ml. After that, when carrying out duodenal intubation, herbal preparations are used, which are introduced into the probe in form of aqueous solutions of medicinal herbs, such as chamomile inflorescences and aspen bark. After each administration of solutions of medicinal herbs, bile is collected. The probing process is completed by introducing a solution of neutral anolyte in an amount of 150-200 ml with ORP=(+700)-(+1200) mV and pH 6.0-7.3.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the therapeutic effect by introducing herbal medicines through a probe into the duodenum, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract, which ensures the preservation of their properties from the negative effects of gastric juice and their faster absorption; as well as in increasing the accuracy of diagnosis by collecting all portions of bile A, B, C, which contributes to more effective detection of helminths, including liver flukes, and a significant reduction in the number of false negative diagnostic results.
