FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: sensor contains two units that are not rigidly connected to each other - a measurement unit that is sensitive to impact acceleration and is a cross-shaped lever on which four inertial elements in the form of balls are placed symmetrically to the central axis on opposite sides of the lever, placed in conical seats with an angle of 80-83°, and a reference force unit, which is a polarized relay that determines the response threshold and allows the sensor to return to its original state if it is triggered. The force is transferred from the measurement unit to the reference force unit through a mechanical low-pass filter, which includes a damping element that eliminates the influence of short-duration shock impacts on the response of the sensor.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the impact sensor, eliminating the impact of low-energy impacts, and returning the sensor to its original state after triggering.
