FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to alternative energy, and can be used in the production of energy from biomass, in particular to a carbon-neutral energy system. The system includes a process of two-stage thermal conversion of biomass into synthesis gas, combining pyrolysis with high-temperature cracking of volatile products on the coke residue of the processed raw materials and a methanol synthesis unit. Moreover, a two-stage purification is used, where in the first stage the reduction of sulphur-containing compounds to hydrogen sulphide is carried out, and in the second stage the adsorption of hydrogen sulphide is carried out.
EFFECT: increase of accuracy of the composition of the resulting synthesis gas.
