FIELD: compressors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compressor for compressing and pumping gases using liquid pistons. The compressor comprises two working chambers 2, 3 with liquid pistons, the liquid cavities of which are connected to each other through a hydraulic pump 10 with a switch for the direction of liquid movement 9, and their gas cavities are connected through the discharge valves 7 to the cavity of the receiver 16 and through the suction valves 6 to the inlet pipe gas 8. Switch 9 is connected via signal inputs to minimum liquid level sensors 4, 5 in chambers 2, 3. Anti-diffusion floats 28 are installed on the surface of the liquid pistons. Switch 9 is made in the form of a two-position liquid distributor connected at the inputs to the hydraulic pump 10, and at the outputs to liquid cavities. A pneumatic pressure switch is installed in the upper part of the receiver 16, connected via the control output to the power supply input of the hydraulic pump 10, and via compressed gas to the output of the receiver 16. In the cavity of the receiver 16 there is a pumped gas washer made in the form of a liquid seal 21 connected by a gas pipe 17 with gas outlets 7 of chambers 2, 3, and along the liquid outlet with a normally closed valve 22 of the sludge outlet.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the compressor.
