SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles that are equipped with a hydraulic system, namely to mechanically driven brake mechanisms. A hydraulic brake booster with a mechanical drive consists of a brake drive lever, an axle, a brake pedal, a brake pedal travel limiter, a hydraulic booster housing, an inlet fitting with a throttle hole, a drain fitting with a hole, a cover with sealing rings installed on it, a rod with oblong drainage holes, a piston with sealing collars, in the upper part of which there are holes, a spool, in which there are holes in the upper and lower parts, connected by a cavity, which in turn is closed at the upper end with a plug, a piston return spring, a rod axis, a strip spool drive, spool return spring and sealing seals, configured to be controlled by moving the spool that regulates the pressure in the upper part of the hydraulic booster housing, which acts on the piston, rod and then on the brake drive lever by opening or closing the bypass holes located in the top spool and piston parts.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the hydraulic brake booster.
