FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: installation of balloon catheters in the common iliac arteries is performed. Inflation of balloon catheters is performed before incision in the uterus and extraction of the fetus. The incision on the uterus is carried out in the form of a single transverse incision in the lower segment. The occlusion of the uterine arteries is carried out by applying ligatures into which the ascending and descending branches of the uterine arteries fall. The myometrium is pierced from the side of the posterior wall of the uterus 0.5–1 cm below the projection of the internal os of the cervix and 0.5 cm medially from the uterine rib, a needle and thread are punctured parallel from the anterior wall of the uterus. Then, with the same needle in the opposite direction, an injection is made in the avascular space of the posterior leaf of the broad ligament of the uterus 2.0–2.5 cm above the site of the previous injection and 0.5–1 cm lateral to the uterine rib.

EFFECT: method allows delivery with minimal blood loss, minimization of surgical trauma due to a single incision on the uterus, elimination of possible negative effects of contrast agents and X-ray radiation, cosmetic effect and rapid rehabilitation of the woman.
