FIELD: olefin-containing hydrocarbon products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing an olefin-containing hydrocarbon product containing ethylene and propylene by converting an oxygenate-containing reactant mixture, which is divided into multiple reactant mixture substreams, in a multi-stage oxygenates-to-olefins (OTO) synthesis reactor. The method includes the following steps: (a) providing a multi-stage OTO conversion synthesis reactor with a plurality of reaction sections connected in series and in fluid communication with each other, comprising a first reaction section and at least one subsequent reaction section, each of which contains zones catalysts containing solid catalysts that are active and selective for synthesis by OTO conversion, wherein a feed device is located upstream of each catalyst zone for sub-flow of a mixture of reactants, and wherein the last reaction section in the direction of flow is in fluid connection with a pipeline for unloading the synthesis reactor product by OTO conversion, (b) introducing a sub-stream of the reactant mixture into each reaction section via a suitable feed device, wherein at least one subsequent reaction section is further supplied with a product stream from a corresponding upstream reaction section, introducing at least one steam stream into the at least one reaction section, introducing at least one recycle stream into the at least one reaction section, (c) at least partially converting the oxygenate feed in the catalyst zones under conditions for converting the oxygenates to olefins and other hydrocarbons, discharging the synthesis reactor product by OTO conversion, (d) separating the synthesis reactor product by OTO conversion in a multi-stage processing apparatus operating using thermal separation methods to produce a plurality of hydrocarbon-containing hydrocarbon product fractions, (e) discharging an olefin-containing product, in particular containing ethylene and/or propylene, hydrocarbon product from the processing device, (f) recycling at least a portion of one or more hydrocarbon product fractions to the synthesis reactor by converting OTO as a recycle stream or recycle streams and introducing the recycle stream(s) at least one reaction section, characterized in that all reactant mixture sub-streams, steam streams and recycle streams are introduced into the synthesis reactor by converting OTO exclusively in gaseous/vapour form and in that the oxygenate-containing reactant mixture contains dimethyl ether (DME), and it is obtained in an esterification reactor by catalytic dehydration of methanol in the gas phase to obtain a gaseous mixture of esterification reactor products containing DME, water vapour and methanol vapour, and the gaseous mixture of esterification reactor products is sent to the synthesis reactor by OTO conversion as a mixture of reagents without an additional separation step. The invention is also related to a device.
EFFECT: proposed method is simple and reliable, and also has low energy consumption.
