FIELD: drives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drive devices with stepless change in speed and direction of rotation of the output shaft. The continuously variable transmission includes input shaft, variator, three-link planetary gear and output shaft. The variator consists of a drive pulley and a driven pulley connected by a belt. The continuously variable transmission further includes a friction-gear clutch configured to connect and disconnect the input shaft and the first gear associated with the first and second gears. The continuously variable transmission also further includes a toothed clutch configured to connect and disconnect the variator drive pulley and the second gear. The first gear is connected to the planetary gear carrier. The epicycle of the planetary gear is connected to the driven pulley of the variator, and the satellites of the planetary gear are connected to the sun gear, which is connected to the output shaft, the second gear and the third gear in series.
EFFECT: simplification of the design of the continuously variable transmission and increase of its reliability.
