FIELD: rocket and space equipment.

SUBSTANCE: gas generator system that ensures the creation and supply of a test medium (TM) to a consumer system. The gas generator system includes a gas generator, a gas generator housing, inside of which there is a solid propellant charge, an igniter and a filter-cooler made of gas-permeable coarse-grained powder with a particle size of 0.13 to 0.5 mm; the filter cooler contains gas-permeable disks placed perpendicular to its axis, made of material with thermal conductivity at least 15 times higher than the thermal conductivity of the dispersed powder of the filter-cooler, the melting, decomposition or sublimation temperature of which is at least 20% higher than the temperature of the combustion products of the solid propellant charge, while the length of the filter-cooler is from 100 to 2500 average particle size of the filter-cooler powder, while the gas generator is additionally equipped with a receiver pre-filled with compressed gas, a gas reducer, a valve system consisting of a check valve, a safety valve, at least two starting propellant valves, a filling neck, a test neck, a pressure indicator in the receiver, system of gas ducts, while the receiver is connected to the gas generator and gas reducer through gas ducts, the check valve is located between the gas generator and the receiver, the safety valve is connected directly to the receiver, the first starting propellant valve is located between the receiver and the gas reducer, the second is located between the reducer and the test medium consumer system, the filling neck is directly connected to the receiver and is used to fill the receiver with compressed gas, the test neck consists of two parts located between the first starting propellant valve and the gas reducer and between the second starting propellant valve and the gas reducer, and is used to check the operability of the line and the reducer, pressure alarm is connected to the control system of the gas generator and, when the pressure in the receiver drops below the set value, sends a signal to start gas generator No. 1, which pumps the test medium into the receiver.

EFFECT: ensuring the creation and supply of test medium with the required pressure and time flow in accordance with the operating cycles of the consumer system, including long operating times of more than 1000 s, long pauses of up to several days between operating cycles and different required TM flow rates, realized according to the current phase state of the system.
