SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to regulate the output power level of the microwave signal of vector network analysers (VNA). The technical result is to increase the sensitivity of the high-frequency signal power detector, increase the dynamic range of setting the output power level of the VNA microwave signal, and increase the accuracy of regulation of the output power level. For this purpose, the system for automatically controlling the output power level of the microwave signal of the VNA via the IF includes the midrange of the probing signal, containing a power amplifier. The MF output of the probing signal is connected to the NO input, the branch channel of which is connected to the input of the down-frequency mixer with a fixed IF, the other input of which is connected to the output of the MF signal of the local oscillator, and the output of the down-frequency mixer with a fixed IF is connected to the input of the band pass filter (BF), output which is connected to the input of the RF power divider. One of the outputs of the power divider is connected to the input of an RF signal power detector, the output of which is connected to the input of a logarithmic amplifier, the output of which is connected to a comparator.

EFFECT: increase in the sensitivity of the high-frequency signal power detector, increase in the dynamic range of setting the output power level of the VNA microwave signal, and increase in the accuracy of regulation of the output power level.
