FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio electronic defense and can be used to defend an object by deception jamming in the direction of the radio electronic equipment of the enemy. In the method for deception jamming, a UHF signal is converted into the optical range, delayed by means of one or several passes through a segment of the optical fibre, and transferred to the initial range. The Doppler shift is introduced by a double frequency transfer.

EFFECT: reduction of the cover gap behind the jammer when the throughput capacity for the amount of targets is increased.
