FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: used for sterilizing soil with steam. The device consists of a frame with cylindrical dosing and sterilization modules and a hopper located sequentially on it. The modules and the hopper have flared edges and are connected to each other with metal clamps. Two boxes are installed on both sides of the device, while in the upper part of the cylindrical body of the sterilization module, horizontal distribution pipes are mounted, connected through taps to a manifold, which are connected to the steam generator using a hose. On the lower side of the distribution pipes, steam pipes with holes are installed in such a way that in the sterilization module they are staggered, forming longitudinal and transverse rows. Plugs are installed at the ends of the steam pipes. The holes on the steam pipes are made in two rows symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the pipe. Moreover, the holes of one row are shifted by half the distance relative to the opposite rows of holes. The holes in the steam pipes are made at an angle of 22.5° relative to the line of the longitudinal row of steam pipes. As a result, the steam-conducting holes in the nozzles on one side are directed in one direction parallel to each other, and the holes located on the reverse side of the steam nozzle are directed in the opposite direction. The dosing module has a bottom, in which holes are made symmetrically to the center in the form of sectors, under which inclined trays are attached to the lower part of the bottom, extending outward from the cylindrical wall of the dosing module. On the lower side of the bottom, a gear motor is installed in the center, so that its shaft comes out through the bottom hole to the top. A dispenser is installed on the shaft, consisting of two symmetrically located horizontal rods, with pins installed on top. The agitator is located on the shaft at a right angle above the dispenser. The shaft is attached to the bottom using a bearing installed on its lower side above the gear motor. The shaft is attached to the cylindrical wall of the dosing module through support rails and a bearing located between the agitator and the dispenser. Support rails are installed above the edges of the bottom holes. The support rails have visors that cover the bottom holes. The support rails with visors are located in such a way that a gap is formed between them and the bottom for the passage of the rod with the dispenser pins.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of disinfection, due to the uniform distribution of steam throughout the treated soil layer, reducing the processing time and energy spent on generating steam and heating the soil.
