FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: synchronous cutting device for cabbage harvesting machines is proposed. The cutting drum (1) consisting of a disk (2) and a hub (3) with a toothed surface at the end is mounted through a needle bearing (4) on the shaft (5). At the end of the disk (2) from the inside, two knives (6) in the form of pointed curved plates at an angle of 90° relative to the vertical with springs (7) are hinged thereto every 180°. There are two sensors installed between the back of the knife (6) and the disk (2). The hub (3) has two semicircular cutouts located every 180° along a circle, which include a cylindrical roller mounted at the end of a spring-loaded two-arm lever through the axis of the lever, and a retainer spring (12) is installed at the second end of the two-arm lever. To the right of the hub (3) on the shaft (5) there is a return spring (14), to which a lock (15) fits on the right, having a serrated surface at the end. The lock (15) is installed on the splined part of the shaft (5), along which it moves, setting the cutting drum (1) in rotation. The shaft (5) is driven into rotation by a hydraulic motor (16). The lock (15) is engaged with the hub (3) under the influence of the fork (17). The fork (17) is influenced by the power lever (18) through the axis of the lever (19). The power lever (18) is reciprocated by a solenoid coil (20).
EFFECT: reduced damage to cabbage heads and reduced energy consumption.
