FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: used to measure the introduced amplitude and phase noise of devices in the high-frequency, ultra-high-frequency and optical ranges, such as amplifiers, multipliers, dividers and frequency converters, direct and indirect synthesis synthesizers, etc. The technical result consists in increasing the upper limit of the frequency range of out-tunings from the carrier frequency and reducing the dependence of the level of phase noise of the system on the ratio of frequencies at the input and output of the device under study, determined by the value of the modulus of the frequency difference f1 and f2, equal | f1 - f2|. The specified technical result is achieved in a system for measuring the introduced phase noise of a device in the high-frequency, ultra-high-frequency or optical ranges, containing a reference signal generator, a frequency mixer SM and an analog-to-digital converter, which additionally contains a harmonic generator, a first bandpass filter PF1, a second bandpass filter PF2, a first power divider DM1, first frequency mixer SM1, third bandpass filter PF3, first direct digital synthesis synthesizer PDS1, second power divider DM2, second frequency mixer SM2, fourth bandpass filter PF4, second direct digital synthesis synthesizer PDS2, and the reference signal generator is connected to the generator harmonics series-connected to the first bandpass filter PF1, the first power divider DM1, the first mixer SM1 and the third bandpass filter PF3, configured to transmit a signal through the device under study in the high-frequency, ultra-high-frequency or optical ranges to the frequency mixer SM, with the first power divider DM1 additionally connected to the first frequency mixer SM1 through the first direct digital synthesis synthesizer PDS1, in addition, the harmonic generator is connected through a second serial connection to the second bandpass filter PF2, the second power divider DM2, the second frequency mixer SM2, the fourth bandpass filter PF4, the frequency mixer SM, wherein the second power divider DM2 is additionally connected to the second frequency mixer CM2 through the second direct digital synthesis synthesizer PDS2.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability and accuracy of measurements.
