FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: device includes first and second auto-correlation frequency discriminators. First discriminator is used for estimating deviation of frequency-modulated signals and rough estimation of frequency. Second discriminator is used for expanding functional capabilities, and also for reducing error of measurement of average frequency of frequency-modulated signals due to adaptation of value of adjustable delay line on basis of instructions of frequency-modulated signal modulating frequency meter with usage of band filter and counter frequency meter.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of device due to simultaneous measurement of deviation, modulating frequency and average frequency of broadband frequency-modulated signals, and also reduced error of average frequency measurement at the level of frequency-modulated signal lesser than the level of interference.
