FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: construction of hydraulic structures used in the formation of tailings dumps at mining and processing enterprises. The method for laying concentration tailings includes the formation of sections 10 by means of dams, fences, alternate filling of them with tailings, starting from the section furthest from the water intake device 4, intake of clarified water and subsequent reclamation, and the formation of sections 10 begins from the lower enclosing dam 2 by filling transverse dams 9 , not adjacent to the bank opposite from the place where the tailings are discharged, and after filling most of the sections with 10 tailings, the water intake device 4 is transferred to the lower enclosing dam 2. Transverse dams 9 are filled from the coarse fraction concentration tailings. Transverse dams 9 are filled and increased in length simultaneously with the storage of concentration tailings in this section.

EFFECT: simplification of the procedure for stacking tailings, increasing the fill rate of tailings dumps and the degree of clarification of recycled water, as well as creating favorable conditions for the formation of a watercourse on the reclaimed surface.
