FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating skin burns in animals, and this method includes performing membrane dialysis of burn surfaces using a membrane dialysate dressing for animals, wherein the cavity of the dressing contains a hyperosmolar multicomponent gel based on dextran-70 with a molecular weight of 70,000 daltons, and the composition of the dialysate changes depending on the period of treatment of the burn disease.
EFFECT: composition of the dialysate gel components allows to effectively treat burn surface without prior necrectomy, providing necrolytic, detoxifying, analgesic and antiseptic effects.
