FIELD: well operations.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention is related to injection of liquids into a formation at a pressure below the rock fracture pressure. A method for determining the distribution of the volume of fluids injected into a well across formation zones along the wellbore consists of determining the permeability profile and formation skin factor along the wellbore and dividing the resulting profiles into zones. Fluids are pumped into the well in accordance with a given schedule, and during the injection process, bottomhole pressure and flow rates of the injected liquid are measured. Then, the permeability and skin factor profiles of the formation, changed during the injection of liquids, are calculated using a model of liquid filtration in a well with different zones, and the bottomhole pressure and flow rate of the injected liquid measured during the injection are used as model input data. Using the calculated changed permeability and skin factor of the formation through the same filtration model, the distribution of the total volume of all injected liquids by zones is determined.

EFFECT: improves the accuracy of determining the distribution of the volume of fluids injected into the well across formation zones with different permeabilities along the wellbore.
