FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: building panels made of sheet material with connecting side edges. The building panel has a front and base surface opposite it, and profiled side edges, each having a profiled joint surface with joining means in the form of wedge-shaped protrusions and grooves, which provide a single wedge assembly or a double wedge assembly when connecting them. With a single butt joint, each panel has two wedge projections, each formed by two rectangular surfaces located at an angle of 30-45° to each other, and a rectangular protrusion. With a double butt joint, each panel has the first and the second wedge projections formed by two rectangular surfaces located at an angle of 30-45° to each other, as well as the third and the fourth wedge protrusions, formed by two rectangular surfaces located at an angle of 60-90° to each other.
