FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of construction, namely to a clamp for boards and a method of mounting a coating with said clamp. Clamp for boards comprises a guide mounting plate, a housing mounted on the mounting plate with the possibility of engaging its upper shelf with two adjacent boards, clamping movable carriage installed on the upper shelf of the housing, with the possibility of its movement to the centre of the housing, a clamp for fixing the boards to the housing, located on the upper shelf of the housing and having a seat for seating, as well as a resilient element installed in the housing, and a protective clip installed on the upper shelf of the housing. Housing has in its lower part elongated shelves-legs, and the guide mounting plate is made with shelves bent inwards in the form of guides for installation of shelves-legs of the housing in them with possibility of the housing movement along the mounting guides. Method of coating installation using a clamp for boards involves mounting on a mounting base of a certain height of a starting bar, as well as clamps for boards with subsequent installation of boards from the first row to the last row.
EFFECT: elimination of gaps between boards.
