FIELD: oil refining and petrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of the booster for motor oils and to oils for modern automobile engines containing this booster. The booster consists of an alkylated diphenylamine when used together with a super-alkaline calcium alkyl salicylate having a base number of more than 300 mg KOH/g, and 3-((bis(2-methylpropoxy)phosphinothioyl)thio)-2-methylpropanoic acid. In this case, the ratio of the components is, wt.%: superalkaline calcium alkyl salicylate, having an alkaline number of more than 300 mg KOH/g - 50-70; alkylated diphenylamine - 15-35; 3-((bis(2-methylpropoxy)phosphinothioyl)thio)-2-methylpropanoic acid - 5-15. Also disclosed is a motor oil based on API Group II or III petroleum oil containing a booster.

EFFECT: increased oxidation stability and improved lubricating properties of motor oils, in particular those used for modern automobile engines.
