FIELD: microwave engineering.
SUBSTANCE: waveguide loads. The waveguide matched load consists of a section of rectangular waveguide 1, to the input of which a corner bend of the rectangular waveguide in the E-plane 2 is attached. A wedge-shaped absorber 3 is installed in a section of a rectangular waveguide 1 with an additionally equipped absorber 4 made in the form of a triangular prism, one of the side faces of which is combined with the inclined edge of the wedge-shaped absorber 3, and the remaining side faces of the triangular prism face the wide walls of the corner bend of the rectangular waveguide in the E-plane 2. A short circuiter 5 is connected to the output of the section of rectangular waveguide 1, which coincides with the edge of the wedge-shaped absorber 3 facing the output of the section of rectangular waveguide 1. The flange 6 of the rectangular waveguide, connected to the input of the corner bend of the rectangular waveguide in the E-plane 2, is one of the wide walls of the section of the rectangular waveguide 1.
EFFECT: simplification of the design, a reduction in overall dimensions while maintaining its electrical characteristics.
