SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for controlling smart household appliances and can be used in the development of home automation systems. The method for controlling smart household appliances is that the control and monitoring of the state of household devices is carried out by sending corresponding commands by voice, gestures, by wireless transmission from an application installed on a portable device or by making calls to a virtual phone number. And this device receives, processes and performs the required actions or transmits the specified commands over a wireless network to one or more other household devices. It also receives and processes data transmitted by these devices and transmits it to the user.
EFFECT: simplified remote control of a centralized system of household devices while simultaneously expanding the list of available functions.
