FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: potato digger contains a ploughshare (1), a separating elevator (2), and a reversible conveyor (3). The potato digger is additionally equipped with a capacitive sensor (13) for measuring soil moisture, made in the form of a wheel. When humidity is reduced, a signal is sent from the capacitive sensor (13) to the automatic pressure control system to increase the internal tire pressure in the running wheels; the pressurized air from the air supply tube (8) enters the chamber of the potato digger's running wheels. With increased humidity, a signal is sent from the capacitive sensor (13) to the automatic pressure control system to reduce the internal tire pressure in the running wheels; air leaves the wheel tires of the potato digger running system through the outlet into the environment (9) and reduces the tire pressure.
EFFECT: soil compaction is prevented.
