FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the mining of steeply dipping ore bodies using a single-stage system with column caving, close to the shape of an ellipsoid of pure ore. The method includes driving outlet and sublevel drilling drifts in each row of columns, drilling out the column with wells, forming a lower end bevel of the column by working in layers inclined at an angle of 45°+ ϕ/2, where ϕ is the angle of internal friction of broken ore, formation by advanced breaking and release of the upper end bevel in the next column, breaking of the column in a clamped environment onto the collapsed rock of the waste column, mass end release from a stationary outlet slot, mining in inclined layers of the protrusion remaining at the base of the column together with the angular one bevel of the next pillar. In this case, the rows of pillars on adjacent floors are positioned with a dip offset of half the height of the pillar. Approximation of the outlet body to the shape of an ellipsoid of pure ore is achieved by giving the column a hexagonal shape in a longitudinal section, and a rhombus in a cross section. To do this, in the lower half of the upper subfloor, a layer of ore of increased coarseness with a lattice structure is formed by rarefying the well pattern, without exceeding the line of least resistance (LLR). And the dome of the mined column to the height of half the sublevel, together with the corner part of the adjacent column, is formed by advancing the removal of fans of wells from the drilling drift of the previous row of columns.

EFFECT: ensuring the extraction of pure ore up to 80%, reducing losses and dilution.
