SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a unit for closing the opening of a container. The unit for closing the opening of the container consists of a container neck equipped with a crimp collar, and a closure device, which contains a lower ring (9), a cap (1); a hinge device (10) that connects the cap (1) to the lower ring (9); and a locking device configured to fix the cap (1) in an inclined open position. The locking device consists of a strip (23) and a protruding part (24) protruding axially from the lower ring (9); the strip (23) and the protruding part (24) are designed in such a way that when the cap (1) is in an inclined open position, the protruding part (24) is held between the strip (23) and the locking crimp collar.

EFFECT: providing the ability to securely fix the cap in an inclined open position, in which it does not interfere with the flow of the contents of the container.
