SUBSTANCE: housing of a cassette warhead of a rotating rocket projectile contains a shell, cylindrical cassettes and a container made in the form of a coil consisting of a central rod, front and rear disks, between which longitudinal ribs are rigidly fixed on the outer surface of the central rod, contacting with their outer edges with the inner surface of the shell. The front disk on the side facing the cassettes is equipped with an annular groove that expands outward. The groove houses the front parts of cylindrical cassettes, the outer surfaces of which are made in a stepped shape. The wall thickness of the front parts of the cassettes in the area is 0.08…0.20 of their total length is 1.2…3.0 wall thickness in the middle of the cassettes. The central rod is made in the form of a pipe with an outer diameter of 0.25…0.35 of the internal diameter of the casing shell of a cluster warhead, and its internal diameter is 0.75…0.90 outer diameter of the rod.

EFFECT: improved reliability of the warhead due to eliminating the possibility of premature exit of the cassettes from the container and their bending by aerodynamic forces, ensuring movement of the cassettes with the specified aeroballistic characteristics and the required dispersion of projectiles on the ground in the target area.
