SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for transmitting and receiving a signal in a multi-user radio communication system with multiple transmitting and multiple receiving antennas (MIMO). The technical result consists in increasing noise immunity, increasing the throughput and capacity of a multi-user communication system with a MIMO channel and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). The result is achieved through the use of an extended codebook, which includes several codebooks intended for use in modulating different spatial streams of one subscriber, and the use of joint MIMO/NOMA demodulation.

EFFECT: increasing noise immunity, increasing the throughput and capacity of a multi-user communication system with a MIMO channel and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA).
