SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 5-alkylthio-4-arylideneamino-3-(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,2,4-triazoles of general formula I, in which R₁ means an aryl group of general formula X_nC₆H_5-n, where X, identical or different, denotes a hydrogen or halogen atom or a nitro group, R₂ denotes an arylalkyl group of the general formula X_nC₆H_5-n(СН₂)_m or an aryloxyalkyl group of the general formula X_nC₆H_5-nО(СН₂)_m, where X, identical or different, denotes a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkyloxy group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a nitro group, n is an integer a number from 0 to 5, m means an integer from 1 to 3. The invention also relates to a method of production of 5-alkylthio-4-arylideneamino-3-(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,2,4-triazoles of general formula I and to a fungicidal composition based on them.
